DEGIRO wins Financial Football 2019

After a two-year break, we organized our 14th installment of Financial Football, the annual football competition for the Dutch Financial Industry (and beyond).
The 29th of June 2019 will go on in the history books as the hottest June day on record and in the blistering heat, DeGiro came out on top as winners of the “Big Fat Bull Trophy”, beating title defender Lynx in the final by scoring the winning goal in the last minute.
Having an ‘all broker’ final would make you forget that several trading firms, exchanges, our regulator AFM and even a team from Moscow participated in the tournament. A big thank you to all participating teams, it was great hosting you.
And, many, many thanks to ORA Traders and Eurex for making this event possible again.
